Total COVID-19 cases in India cross 50,000 mark

The total number of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in India has crossed the 50,000 mark on Thursday.

A total of 52,952 COVID-19 cases and 1,783 deaths were reported by the federal health ministry at 08:00 a.m. local time.

This is an increase of 3,561 cases and 89 deaths in the past 24 hours.
