Beijing discharges 8 people after recovery from virus infection

Authorities in Beijing have discharged eight people from hospital after they recovered from novel coronavirus infections.

Beijing reported six new confirmed cases of novel coronavirus infection on Monday, bringing the total number of infections to 387, according to a press conference on Tuesday. The city saw another 49 new suspected cases on Monday.

The new confirmed cases all previously had close contact with infected patients, and they are receiving treatment in hospital.
