Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas hospitalized for routine check-up

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' spokesman has confirmed that the 82-year-old leader was hospitalized Saturday for a routine check-up and swiftly discharged in a matter of hours. The results of his medical tests were said to be "excellent".
