Europe sends medical goods to Iran in trade test

European countries have exported medical goods to Iran in the first transaction conducted under a trade mechanism set up to evade American sanctions on Tehran, the German Foreign Ministry said in a statement Tuesday.

France, Germany and the UK confirmed that the mechanism has successfully concluded its first transaction, facilitating the export of medical goods from Europe to Iran, according to the statement.
