Two killed, over 50 injured in SW China expressway pileup

Two people were killed and over 50 others were injured after more than a hundred vehicles piled up on two expressways in southwest China's Guizhou Province on Saturday night.

The pileup occurred at around 8:00 p.m. local time on the Sinan-Jianhe and the Jiangkou-Weng'an expressways due to slippery roads.

Among the injured, 10 were in critical condition.

The traffic on the expressways has resumed, and an investigation into the incident is underway.
