Eduardo Paes was elected mayor of Rio de Janeiro for the third time in 2020. He served from 2009-2016, when Rio hosted the World Cup and the Olympics.

But he now faces a much more complicated situation with the COVId-19 pandemic.

CGTN's Lucrecia Franco sat down with Paes to discuss the pandemic's impacts.
