Beijing to tighten health monitoring for overseas arrivals

Beijing will tighten its health monitoring measures for overseas arrivals, including those who have entered China in the last 21 days, local authorities said on Tuesday.

Beijingwill comprehensively enhance the prevention and control of the coronavirus pandemic, said Xu Hejian, spokesperson for the Beijing Municipal Government, at a press conference.

The city reported seven new locally-transmitted confirmed COVID-19 cases on Monday.
