G20 says monitors impact of coronavirus on markets, economy

The finance ministers and central bankers of the G20 announced on Saturday that they are closely monitoring the impact of the novel coronavirus epidemic on markets and economy, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

"We will be working with the international community to assist developing countries in coping with the impact of the (coronavirus) outbreak," G20 said in a statement.

They also expressed their readiness to take further actions, including fiscal and monetary measures, to aid the response to the virus, support the economy and maintain the resilience of the financial system.
