Containerization transformed the shipping industry. The standard-sized boxes make it easy to ship all sorts of goods, from port to port. But sometimes containers sent one way, have nothing to carry back - and are left empty on the dock. One California company saw an opportunity and has been transforming them into fully-functioning work spaces.
