88 trains diverted after derailment accident in central China

A total of 88 trains have been adjusted so far after a train derailed in the city of Chenzhou in central China's Hunan Province Monday.

According to Guangzhou Railway Group, 88 trains on the southern section of the Beijing-Guangzhou railway have been affected, including 54 suspensions, 22 returns and 12 detours.

The train, T179, ran into a rain-triggered landslide at 11:40 a.m., derailing five carriages. A railway policeman on the train was killed, while 122 others on the train were wounded, including four severely wounded.
