ISLAMABAD, May 24 (Xinhua) -- People shop with caution for Eid al-Fitr at local market in Islamabad, capital of Pakistan amid the COVID-19 outbreak. Eid al-Fitr marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.
In Pakistan, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases has risen to 52,437 with 1,101 deaths as of Saturday.
