1 killed, 14 injured during Myanmar's water festival

One person was killed and 14 others injured in accidental cases on Tuesday, the first day of Myanmar's Thingyan water festival, the police said on Thursday.

The 11 accidental cases, mostly car crashes, took place in Bago, Yangon, Mandalay regions and Shan state during the water festival.

Myanmar's traditional water festival runs across the country from Tuesday to Saturday. Enditem
