Philadelphia shooting: Six police officers shot, situation ongoing

At least six police officers were shot and wounded with non-life-threatening injuries while several other officers are receiving treatment for non-gunshot injuries in a shooting in U.S. city of Philadelphia on Wednesday afternoon, local police confirmed.

Two police officers who were trapped inside the house with the shooter have been rescued by the SWAT team. The suspect of the shooting standoff is still barricaded inside the house and armed.
