China's economy is resilient due to its sophisticated industrial foundation, strong engineering education system and world-class infrastructure after more than 40 years of opening up, said Chen Siqi, partner at Cathay Capital, when asked about European investors' confidence in China. He expects a strong recovery in the near future as more European investors explore private equity and venture capital opportunities in China.
