Beijing to host youth football event in mid-August

The 37th Beijing Evening Baidui Cup, an annual youth football tournament, will be held in mid-August after the Chinese capital lowered its emergency response to COVID-19 from level II to III.

Teams will be categorized into 15 groups, aged from a U6 mixed group to a high school students group, and a 5v5 format will be adopted.

Online registration will close on July 31 and this year's event is estimated to last for two weeks, organizers said.
