KATHMANDU, Nov. 25 (APD) – Shangri-La, Kathmandu organized a cake-mixing for Christmas, which has been an age-old tradition in Christian belief.
The program was basically intended to "give back to the society" by inviting a few students of Niten Memorial School, and providing scholarship to them.
General Manager of Hotel Shangri-La & Resort, Samir Banerjee handed over the support cheque to Nicole Thakuri-Wick, founder of the school.
Meanwhile, amid an enthusiastic crowd of guests, including in-house guests, celebrities, journalists, entrepreneurs, hotel's Chief Chef Vikram Kumar initiated the cake-mixing event urging everyone to join him.

He asked the participants to mix ingredients, including Dates, Dry Cherry, Fig, Almond, Walnut, Pistachio, Raisins, Sultana, Whiskey, Rum, Vodka, Red Wine, Beer, among others to make the cake.
