COVID-19 death toll rises to 65 in Israel

Israel reported eight new death cases from the novel coronavirus on Tuesday, bringing the death toll to 65, the state's Ministry of Health said.

One of the eight victims is a 37-year-old man, the youngest coronavirus death case in the country so far. He had suffered from other serious diseases.

The ministry added that a total of 344 people in Israel tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday, bringing the tally of infections to 9,248.

Of the 725 patients being treated in hospitals across Israel, 149 are in serious condition and 189 are in moderate condition.
