A soldier has been killed after sustaining injury in an incident at Castlemartin Ranges in Wales, the British Ministry of Defense said on Thursday.
The soldier was from the Royal Tank Regiment, and three other soldiers were wounded in the incident, according to the ministry.
"The safety of our personnel is our absolute priority and a full investigation is underway to understand the details of this tragic incident," Minister for People and Veterans, Tobias Ellwood said.
The regiment is preparing for a live fire exercise at Castlemartin in Wales, according to information posted on the Army's website.
Opened by the War Office in 1938, the range covers 5,900 acres on the south Pembrokeshire coast.
