India's External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Pakistan's National Security Advisor Sartaj Aziz held an extensive meeting in Nepal's western city of Pokhara Thursday.

Speaking to media after the meeting, the Indian Foreign Minister said that the Pakistani National Security Advisor handed her over an invitation from Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaj Sharif to his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi to attend the 19th SAARC Summit to be held in Islamabad later this year.

"We discussed issues related to the Pathankot airbase attack in India in January this year," the Indian minister told media after the meeting.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the meeting of the SAARC Council of Ministers hosted by Nepal. Pakistani National Security Advisor Aziz said that the Pakistan's Joint Investigation Team will visit New Delhi on March 27 in course of probing the Pathankot airbase attack.
