Hong Kong's Center for Health Protection (CHP) reported on Tuesday 21 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number to 935.

The 21 new cases involve 12 males and 9 females aged between 16 and 61, 12 of whom had travel history during the incubation period, including four students who had been studying overseas, Head of the CHP's Communicable Disease Branch Chuang Shuk-kwan said at a daily press briefing on Tuesday afternoon.

Out of the nine patients without travel history, three are related to a karaoke party cluster, and four were the second-generation transmission of clustered outbreaks in bars.

Chuang also reported a confirmed Nepalese pregnant woman, but the source of this infection has not been known yet.

According to Hong Kong's Hospital Authority, a total of 236 patients have been discharged from hospitals upon recovery.
