WHO advises against remdesivir for coronavirus treatment

The World Health Organization on Friday advised against the use of the anti-viral drug remdesivir in patients hospitalized with COVID-19.

The WHO treatment guideline panel said evidence shows remdesivir has no meaningful effect on mortality or on other important outcomes for COVID-19 patients.
