Xi stresses maintaining focus on ecological civilization construction

President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, on Friday stressed that the country should maintain its strategic focus on ecological civilization construction and strive for modernization that allows humans and nature to co-exist in harmony.

Xi made the remarks while presiding over a group study session of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee on Friday.
