Political party leaders from around the world have recently spoken positively of China's remarkable achievements in its anti-epidemic fight in messages sent to the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee.
China has not only safeguarded the first line of defence against COVID-19 in the world, but also shared important experience with and offered crucial support for other countries, they said.
In her message, Justine Lumumba Kasule, secretary general of Uganda's National Resistance Movement, said that China has made big progress in fighting the COVID-19 under the strong leadership of the CPC.
The Ugandan party appreciates the CPC's sharing of its anti-epidemic experience, and expects to constantly deepen the friendly exchanges between the two parties, she said.
Hryhoriy Nemirya, deputy head of Ukraine's Batkivshchyna (All-Ukrainian Union Party) thanked China for its great supports to Ukraine, as well as other countries around the world, in their fight against COVID-19, adding that global solidarity, joint efforts and mutual assistance have never been such important as they are in the current situation.
China have demonstrated with its action that the vision of a community with a shared future for mankind is an effective survival strategy for international community in a new era, he added.
Fabien Roussel, national secretary of French Communist Party, said that China has not only confronted the pandemic with courage, but also provided assistance to people around the world, helped other countries fight against the epidemic, and moved to mitigate the shock to the global economy and trade as much as possible, for which France is very grateful.
Only with enhanced cooperation can the international community overcome the challenges brought by the pandemic to the human beings, he said.
Other political figures who also sent messages to express their congratulation on China's great achievement in the fight against the coronavirus include Chair of Mongolian Civil Will Green Party Tserendorj Gankhuyag, ex-member of the House of Representatives of Japan Kaneko Tetsuo, and Chief Executive of Regional Peace Institute in Pakistan Raoof Hasan. In their messages, they also call on all nations across the world to strengthen cooperation so as to prevail over the epidemic at an early date.
