Dr. Dennis Carroll on equal vaccine distribution in combating COVID-19

Chinese President Xi Jinping said China will provide an additional $3 billion in international aid in the next three years to fight the coronavirus at the Global Health Summit, a special summit health in Rome by the G20. President Xi also called for other countries to take up responsibility to provide vaccines to developing countries in need.

There is a growing call in the global community to cooperate in fighting the pandemic, especially in distributing vaccines.

Dr. Dennis Carroll, chair forLeadershipBoard,GlobalViromeProject and senior advisor ofGlobalHealth Security of URC, believes that this cooperation between major world powers is crucial in fighting the pandemic. He spoke with CGTN Mandarin’s Liu Xu about the issue
