The first COVID-19 case in Lebanon has recovered and is expected to return home on Wednesday, a source from the health ministry told Xinhua on Tuesday.

"Rafic Hariri Hospital will test the patient again tomorrow. The result is expected to be negative like previous ones and the patient will leave the hospital," the source said on condition of anonymity.

The patient, a woman, has moved to a regular room at the hospital, the source added.

Lebanon has so far reported 13 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
