Thai caretaker PM whereabouts not known

Thai caretaker premier Niwattumrong Boonsongpaisan's whereabouts are not yet known after the armed forces seized the power.

Niwattumrong was not attending the meeting hosted by Army Commander in Chief Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha at the Royal Army Club which intended to find solution to the ongoing political crisis.

All warring groups were invited to the meeting, during which all the attendants were detained by the army.

The premier was absent from the meeting since the first day, claiming he was the premier and will not attended the meeting hosted by the army chief.
