Upon taking office, U.S. President Joe Biden promised to dismantle many immigration policies under the previous administration of Donald Trump. During his first few days in office, Biden started to make good on that promise - introducing a massive immigration package and signing several executive orders to reverse Trump's anti-immigration policies.

CGTN Correspondent Franc Contreras explains the many complex factors the new administration is taking into consideration as it attempts to remake the troubled U.S. immigration system.
