APD | Magnitude 5.5 earthquake hits Burdeos, Quezon

A magnitude 5.5 earthquake shook Burdeos, Quezon at 4:28 P.M. today.

Reports from the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) said the earthquake of tectonic origin came from a depth of 10 kilometers.

While there is no tsunami warning, the government agency said they expect damage reports and aftershocks.

The earthquake was felt in Jose Panganiban, Camarines Norte with Intensity IV, Guinayangan, Quezon with Intensity III.

It was also felt in Metro Manila and Tagaytay City.
