The Chinese Embassy in Myanmar handed over 15 more ventilators to Myanmar to assist in its fight against the COVID-19, according to a release from the embassy on Wednesday.
The second batch of ventilators from China arrived in Myanmar's Shan state through a border gate of the two countries late Tuesday, bringing the total number of ventilators provided by China to Myanmar to 30.
The YH-830-11 respiratory ventilators were handed over to Myanmar government and military, the embassy's release said.
The first batch of the ventilators arrived in Myanmar's Yangon on April 22.
Meanwhile, a team of medical personnel from Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) who recently arrived in Yangon, has joined with Myanmar's military medical personnel in measures of prevention, control, treatment for COVID-19.
As of Wednesday morning, Myanmar has reported 150 COVID-19 confirmed cases with six deaths.
