Nowruz, the Persian New Year - is the biggest celebration in Iran.

It’s a secular holiday which means “new day” - and symbolizes new beginnings. Nowruz is always on the first day of Spring, which is taking place Saturday. CGTN America Anchor Asieh Namdar shows us her Haftseen table and explains some of her Persian traditions here.
