Biden White House overturns Trump’s attempt to ban TikTok

The Biden White House has reversed a Trump administration​attempt toban two popular Chinese-owned apps.

TikTok and WeChat were never actually blocked in the U.S., due to legal challenges.

But efforts to keep them off of American gadgets exacerbated tensions between Washington and Beijing.
