Leicester City has been hit by a bad run of luck as they will be without a few first-team players for the remainder of the season amid their Champions League push for a top-four finish.

With just two key games remaining, Leicester confronts an injury disaster as James Maddison, Ben Chilwell and Christian Fuchs will be out for the rest of the season, manager Brendan Rodgers confirmed to media.

The team clinched a vital 2-0 win on Thursday over Sheffield United, securing a spot in the top-four race with narrow advantage over Manchester United. The two teams are level on points, while fourth-place Leicester has the edge on goal difference.

Leicester will play away to Tottenham Hotspur and then meet a final-day showdown against United. United will tackle relegation-threatened West Ham before tripping to the King Power Stadium for the final match.

If Leicester and United both chalk up victories in the next-to-last games, they realistically could be placed third and fourth respectively, as current third-place Chelsea, one point ahead of them, will play away to champions Liverpool.
