China to launch core module of space station

China on Thursday will launch the core module of the country's space station from the Wenchang Space Launch Site in the southern province of Hainan at around 11:00 a.m. BJT.

The core module, named Tianhe, will be carried into space aboard a Long March-5B Y2 carrier rocket.

The rocket has been loaded with propellant.
