FDA approves controversial Alzheimer’s drug

Tens of millions of people worldwide suffer from Alzheimer’s disease, a form of dementia. There is no cure and treatments are limited.

But a new drug that has controversially just been approved by the U.S. Food Drug Administration is providing hope it could delay the progression of the disease, despite concerns over its efficacy.
