Poland's Interior Minister Bartlomiej Sienkiewicz Wednesday ordered the temporary reintroduction of checks on Polish borders during an upcoming climate conference, according to Polish media report.

The checks will be restored from Nov. 8 to 23 on Poland's borders with the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia, Lithuania and on Poland's maritime and air borders.

Border teams are empowered to refuse entry to persons who are suspected of disturbing the peace or otherwise endangering security. And all the checks will not cause any disturbance to tourist traffic.

The 19th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC and the 9th session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol will take place on Nov. 11-22 in Warsaw, Poland.
