U.S economy: COVID recovery optimism grows

Two sets of figures released on Thursday are fueling optimism about a strong pandemic economic recovery in the U.S.

The latest growth figure was revised higher,while unemployment claims fell. But that optimism is being driven partly on prospects for another enormous stimulus plan that’s in danger of being scaled back.
