At least 4 insurgents killed in E. Afghanistan

At least four militants were confirmed dead as security forces launched operations in Bangor area outside Ghazni city, the capital of eastern Ghazni province, on Friday, provincial governor's spokesman Aref Nuri said Saturday.

The security forces have also destroyed the militants' arms and ammunition in the raid, the official said.

Nuri also said that the operations would last until the area is cleansed of the militants. However, he didn't brief on casualties of security personnel.

Taliban militants haven't commented yet.
