At least 19 injured in bus-truck collision in Hong Kong

At least 19 people were injured after a bus collided with a truck in Hong Kong Thursday morning.

The bus was a Route N31 bus from Long Win Bus Company, driving from the airport to the city center. It collided with the truck at around 5:00 a.m. and caused seven taxis that were about 200 meters away to crash because they were not able to brake in time. Two taxi drivers were also injured.

Two passengers from the bus that were trapped have been rescued and all the injured people have been sent to hospitals nearby.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
