All epidemic control measures are taken to save more lives: Xi

All prevention and control measures taken by the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee against the novel coronavirus are to prevent more people from being infected and save more patients' lives, Chinese President Xi Jinping said Tuesday.

The CPC Central Committee has made a clear demand to put people's lives and health on the top of the priority list since the very start of the outbreak, Xi, also general secretary of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, said while inspecting epidemic prevention and control work in Wuhan.
