U.S. border apprehensions soar 70% in March to 15-year high: govt

Apprehensions of undocumented migrants on the U.S. border with Mexico soared 70 percent in March to 172,331, hitting the highest level in 15 years, U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported Thursday.
