, Miranda Kerr offered her words of wisdom to young models like Kendall and Gigi. "What I love is being able to do commercials and then editorials," Miranda told the publication. "I feel like there is so much more of that these days. Back in the day, it was either you're an editorial model or a commercial model. There was less crossover and it's nice to see that now."

Miranda Kerr encouraged young models to take advantage of those crossover opportunities that were once rare in the modeling world. "I encourage that because it doesn't feel good to ever be pigeon-holed," she said. "It's good to do commercial and editorial because it shows a lot of versatility."

Miranda also pointed out that models like Kendall and Gigi, while young (both are 21), seem to be handling the industry with skill already. "They're doing so well," she said. "It's great to see them out there and being so versatile."

Versatile, indeed: Both Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid have handled countless editorial and commercial jobs. They've each walked the international runways for designers including Chanel, Oscar de la Renta, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, and Versace (just to name a few). They've both graced numerous international magazine covers—includingVogue. And they've each landed commercial campaigns with brands like Reebok, GUESS jeans, Calvin Klein, and Mango. So, we'd say they are crossing over just fine.
