A Myanmar military tribunal has sentenced 15 people to 20 years in jail with hard labor for arson attacks and thefts of two factories in the township of Shwe Pyi Thar in Yangon on May 14, state media reported Wednesday.

The two garment factories are reportedly Chinese-financed.

The tribunal handed out similar terms to 28 other people for arson attacks on factories in another industrial area of Yangon on May 24.
