70 injured in fuel tanker explosion in Turkey

About 70 people were injured in an explosion of a fuel tanker on early Tuesday in Lice town of southeastern Diyarbakir province of Turkey, Dogan News Agency reported.

A fuel tanker overturned and exploded, two buses and one car also got fire with spread of the flame. 20 of the injured are seriously burned, the agency reported.

The fire could be taken under control in two hours. The driver of the truck was taken out of the vehicle only second before the explosion.
