Fantastic Beasts wizarding world of adventure starts filming sequel

Good news for Harry Potter fans, shooting of the sequel to the spin-off Fantastic Beasts and * Where to Find Them* , is underway. The name of the highly anticipated film has yet to be determined.

Warner Bros. on Monday revealed some detailed plots of the sequel and confirmed cast for the

film.

The story of the Fantastic Beasts 2 as it is affectionately called,

will be set months after the first one, in 1927, when the Dark Wizard Gellert Grindelwald escaped from prison. Johnny Depp, lead star in the Pirates of the Caribbean Franchise, will continue to take on the role of Grindelwald in the coming film.

Eddie Redmayne will return as Newt Scamander, only in the sequel he is expected to team up with Albus Dumbledore, his former professor, to fight Grindelwald.

Newt's friends in Fantastic Beasts and * Where to Find Them* , Tina (Katherine Waterston), her sister Queenie and Muggle baker Jacob (Dan Fogler) will also make appearances in the new film.

Ezra Miller's haunted character Credence will also reappear in the new film, and the fate of his character will be revealed. And Zoe Kravitz's role Leta Lestrange, who only showed up in a photography in _Fantastic Beasts _as a close friend from Newt's past, will also return.

Albus Dumbledore, the future Hogwarts headmaster in the Harry Potter series, will also debut in * Fantastic Beasts 2* , with Jude Law starring in that role.

There will also be some other new characters aside from Jude Law's young Dumbledore, including Newt's brother Theseus Scamander, starred by Callum Turner and a mysterious "young woman we first meet as a featured attraction at a wizarding circus", starred by Claudia Kim.

J.K. Rowling, the creator of the wizarding world, has written the script, and director of the previous film, David Yates, is back calling the shots as well.

The setting of the story will be moved from New York to London and Paris, according to the synopses revealed by Warner Bros., adding that there will also be some "surprising nods to the Harry Potter stories that will delight fans of the books and film series."

The original film grabbed some 800 million US dollars box office worldwide. The sequel is scheduled to be released in November, 2018.
