At least 12 dead, 12 injured in Mumbai building collapse

At least 12 people were killed and 12 others were injured after a four-story building collapsed in the Indian city of Mumbai on Tuesday, Xinhua News Agency reported.

Fifteen families lived in the building, local police said, adding that several people are still buried under the rubble.

The injured were taken to area hospitals for treatment. The cause of the accident remains unknown, while search and rescue operations are underway.
