Animation festival facilitates deals worth $200m

China's biggest cartoon and animation festival concluded on Saturday with a record 1.5 billion yuan (over $200 million) in contracts and sales achieved, according to its organizing committee. The festival attracted more than 500 enterprises and organizations from 67 countries and regions, with the largest team hailing from Russia. The event not only provided a strong boost to the industry but also encouraged the nurturing of new talents.
