At least 17 dead after bus hits overhead sign in Dubai

At least 17 people died and five others were injured after a bus hit an overhead road sign in Dubai on Thursday.

The vehicle was carrying 31 passengers when the accident occurred at 4:40 p.m. local time, according to local police.

An investigation is currently underway.
