China's Chang'e-5 probe completes automatic sampling on lunar surface

China's Chang'e-5 completed the drilling, sampling and sealing of lunar soil at 4:53 a.m. BJT on Wednesday, marking the first automatic sampling on the moon.

The material will provide further understanding of the geological evolution of the moon and provide necessary information to better understand solar activity.
