Sergio Ley Lopez, former Mexican ambassador to China, was born in a Chinese family. He grew up listening to Chinese stories from his father. Lopez "wanted to know the country where his father lived and grew up." When he visited China for the first time, he pretended to drop his coat on the ground so that as he bent down to pick it up, he could touch the land where his father was born.
