The 2019-20 Premier League season is coming back on June 17. Though it's only a matter of time before Liverpool receive their first top league title in 30 years, there are still many things hanging in the balance, just like they are on fans' minds.

How many records will Liverpool be able to break?

If Manchester City lose to Arsenal on June 17 and Liverpool beat Everton in the Merseyside derby on June 21, the Reds will be able to expand their lead over Man City to 28 points and win the Premier League championship with eight games to spare, way earlier than the current record of five games. Moreover, Liverpool already gained 82 points and have nine games left. If they can collect another 19 points in the rest of the season, the Reds will break Man City's 100-point record in the 2017-18 season.

Which four teams will make the UEFA Champions League?

The top 4 teams on the ranking table at the moment are Liverpool (82 points), Man City (57 points), Leicester City (53 points), Chelsea (48 points). Man City have been banned from Champions League for two seasons for seriously misleading the UEFA and breaking financial fair play rules. Though they are appealing, the chance of Man City missing the Champions League next season is not zero. That means an extra spot for another team.

From No. 5 to No. 9 are Manchester United (45 points), Wolverhampton Wanderers (43 points), Sheffield United (43 points), Tottenham Hotspur (41 points), and Arsenal (40 points). The biggest difference between Chelsea and the Gunners is only eight, which can be wiped in three games. So far, it remains unknown which two teams will miss the tens of millions of euros in the Champions League bonus.

Who will the Golden Boot go to?

Having scored 19 goals in 26 games, Jamie Vardy of Leicester City lead the goals table, followed by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (17 goals, Arsenal), Sergio Agüero (16 goals, Man City), Mohamed Salah (16 goals, Liverpool), Danny Ings (15 goals, Southampton), Sadio Mane (14 goals), Marcus Rashford (14 goals, Man City).

Salah has been one of the most popular shooters in the Premier League and already won two Golden Boot awards in a row in the past two seasons. If he can come back to beat Vardy this time, Salah will match Alan Shearer and Thierry Henry to win the owner three straight times.

Who will kiss Premier League goodbye?

The COVID-19 pandemic did suspend the season and hit the clubs, especially the small ones, hard financially. If they stay in the top league and consider the Premier League's crazy business success, things should get better soon. However, for the clubs relegated to EFL Championship, the pain awaits them…. Currently, Norwich City are at the bottom with 21 points, and they are basically doomed. From No. 17 to No. 15 are Aston Villa (25 points), Bournemouth (27 points), Watford (27 points), West Ham United (27 points), and Brighton Hove Albion (29 points). Brutal battles are inevitable before the two unlucky teams are decided.
